Tok School Graduate to Speak on December 15

 This Thursday, Tok school will greet one of its own. Aaron Schutt, will speak to secondary school students in the multi purpose room at 1:45 pm. Aaron is the new CEO of Doyon Native Corporation stepping into this position this past October.

End of Semester

Finals are quickly approaching! We only have a week and a half until they start!  Here are some tips to make the best out of this stressful time of the year.

• Review all old tests and quizzes- Look at the answers you got wrong!
• Utilize study guides!
• Spend time after school with your teachers getting extra help and asking questions!
• Create flashcards, lists, design your own quizzes for testing yourself, utilize memory tricks to help retain information.
• Try to avoid cramming the night before your exams. Start studying early on!
• Get plenty of sleep the night before your tests.

Welcome back to the 2011-12 school year!  I hope everyone had a terrific summer.

For those of you starting your school supply shopping, here are a few items you will want to aquire:

• 2 inch 3 ring binder
• 5 dividers
• loose leaf paper or spiral notebook
• pencils
• blue/black pens
• colored grading pen (red or purple are best)
• colored pencils
